Adeniyi Olangunju, PhD

Adeniyi Olagunju is a Tenure Track Fellow in Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Liverpool in the United Kingdom. Prior to joining the University of Liverpool, Adeniyi was a Senior Lecturer and a Wellcome Trust International Training Fellow at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. His training and research career to date cover molecular, computational and clinical pharmacology, spanning the full spectrum from basic science to clinical trials. He is passionate about developing and using novel approaches to generate data that facilitate evidence-based recommendations for infectious diseases therapeutics in special and under-represented populations. Adeniyi is a pharmacist and holds a Master of Research in Biomedical Science and Translational Medicine and PhD in Pharmacology from the University of Liverpool.
